Today we visited a cheese factory in the mountainous town of Gruyere and the old town it is near as well as took a scenic train journey to the lakeside Montreux. With a lovely walk along a blooming foreshore we arrived at the Chateau de Chillon, a castle built in the 12th centuary.

As always--gorgeous pics.
That cheese looks awfully good, and Switzerland is definitely a place I'd love to visit someday.
My wife, Liesl, says it was her favorite part of Europe when she was there.
Beautiful! Love these regular postings!
I got a bit obsessed with the old windows at Chateau de Chillon and took heaps of photos (before digital cameras were common!). Hope you loved it too.
Hey Bec and Rich
Seeing the photos of Switzerland - reminds me of my childhood!! I miss home now, so glad you guys were able to visit Geneva and the surroundings.
